About Reproduction of Happpiness

I have been a fan and reader of Kak Nazura Gulfira’s blog for a long time. I first discovered Kak Nazura’s blog when I was searching for information about scholarships abroad. From there, I read Kak Nazura’s posts about scholarships, then continued to read her other stories. I love her style, her mindset, and the way she arranges words into a story. One of my favorite sections is Reproduction of Happiness (ROH). In my opinion, that section radiates positive energy. ROH invites us to see and appreciate the little things that happen in our life. I want to write my own version of Reproduction of Happiness. Check out her writings here!

Kaliurang has always been my go-to escape when my heart is heavy with worries. But this time, I headed there not to express my sorrow. I went there with a heart full of joy, accompanied by someone truly special. Surrounded by abundant green trees and embraced by refreshing air, Kaliurang offers a peaceful escape from the chaos of daily life. For me, the combination of Kaliurang and soft sound of raindrops is simply beautiful. Every time I’m there and encounter the drizzle along with the mist, I feel like I transported to another realm. Just imagine being in a visually captivating place, wrapped in mist, creating an atmosphere perfect for daydreaming and enjoying the beauty of nature.

This marks my second visit to Ullen Sentalu. It had been around two years since my last visit. Initially, my partner and I had only planned to visit Nawang Jagad. It was only later that we discovered Nawang Jagad was right next to Ullen Sentalu. We arrived there around 11 in the morning. Eventually, we decided to make a quick tour to Ullen Sentalu because my partner had never been there before. Ullen Sentalu, surrounded by mist, looked captivating. Its architectural design seamlessly blended with the light drizzle that was falling at the time. Perhaps due to the early hour and the rain, there were only a few visitors around. This made easier for us to explore every corner. My partner who was visiting for the first time was amazed by Ullen Sentalu’s architecture. Seeing him enjoy his journey brought me happiness.

After thoroughly exploring Ullen Sentalu, we proceeded to continue our journey to Nawang Jagad. I’ve often seen posts on social media about Nawang Jagad. I knew that we could get a clear view of Mount Merapi from there. However, when we arrived the foggy weather clouded the view of Mount Merapi. Honestly, I didn’t mind because I prefer the mist over the view of Mount Merapi. I could still enjoy the scenery of the small hills surrounding Nawang Jagad. Unlike our expectations that Nawang Jagad would be expansive, it turned out to be smaller and led directly to a cliff.

I spent my time there reading the book I had brought along. There are lots of places to sit there from ordinary wooden chairs, long benches, to hamocks. Most of the visitors are couples enjoying their free time together. One thing I regretted was that there was live music provided by the organizers at Nawang Jagad. I felt that live music didn’t quite fit with the natural ambiance. Nawang Jagad is more suited for daydreaming and living in the moment. Well, it all comes down to personal preference again. I also met a cute poodle there! Her name is Poki. Her owner is also a sweetheart. She let me play with Poki. She also sat at my laps for about 30 minutes I guess. She sat quietly and enjoyed my scratches. Such a good girl!

We couldn’t spend our time there for too long because the rain wont stop pouring, so we decided to leave around 2 in the afternoon. I wish I could have spent more there. That’s all my first Reproduction of Happiness. I hope you can absorb my happiness and emotions from my writings. See you in the next episode of Reproduction of Happiness!
